📘 [1] Terms & Conditions – For Parents / Clients
By engaging Premier Malay Tuition’s services, you agree to the following terms and policies.
1. 📌 Our Role
Premier Malay Tuition is a tuition-matching agency. We connect students/parents (“Clients”) with suitable tutors and coordinate lesson arrangements. Tutors are not our employees; they operate independently.
2. 📆 Lesson Arrangements
Clients are responsible for confirming the following details with the agency before starting:
-
Tuition schedule and frequency (e.g. once or twice per week)
-
Agreed hourly rate
-
Mode of tuition (home or online)
Kindly note that any cancellations or rescheduling should be informed at least 24 hours in advance to both the tutor and the agency. For last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours), a fee of S$20 will apply to help cover administrative costs and the tutor’s reserved time. We appreciate your understanding.
3. 💰 Payment & Commission Process
The agency charges the tutor a one-time commission of 40% of the first month’s tuition fee (or 30% for subsidised assignments). The payment process is as follows:
a. Once-a-week lessons (4 lessons/month)
-
After the 2nd lesson, parent/client pays 40%/30% of total monthly fee directly to Premier Malay Tuition via PayNow
-
After the 4th lesson, the remaining 60%/70% is paid directly to the tutor
b. Twice-a-week lessons (8 lessons/month)
-
After the 4th lesson, parent/client pays 40%/30% of total monthly fee to Premier Malay Tuition via PayNow
-
After the 8th lesson, the remaining 60%/70% is paid directly to the tutor
Clients are advised to keep clear records and confirm lesson progress with the tutor. No upfront lump-sum payments are required unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. 🔐 Privacy & Communication
All information shared with the agency (e.g., name, tuition needs, contact details, address) will only be used for arranging tuition and will not be sold or shared with third parties. Document sharing should be done via WhatsApp or email, not uploaded on the website.
5. ❌ Disclaimers
While we do our best to match clients with qualified tutors, we do not guarantee academic improvement or student performance. In the event of tutor issues or a mismatch, please contact us and we will arrange a replacement where possible.
